Often the people in need of help most are the least likely to ask for it. Dylan and Alicia Price appreciate the simpler things in life and live their lives to serve others. They are they least likely people to ask for help.
Their love for each other, and not the spotlight, lef them to head up to Pisgah National Forest a little over a year ago to say their wedding vows. Now over a year later, their vow of "for better or worse" has been tested by Hurricane Matthew.
While in Pennsylvania celebrating a family wedding, Hurricane Matthew struck eastern North Carolina. At the same time, Alicia learned her 32 year old brother died suddenly in New Hampshire. They returned from the most joyous and tragic family occasions to find themselves homeless.
Dylan and Alicia's home in Goldsboro was condemned due to flooding from the hurricane. All of their essentials have been lost due to water damage. Dylan's car is inoperable due to flood damange as well. FEMA is in North Carolina to provide relief, but were unable to provide much support to assist Dylan and Alicia purchase holdhold items, personal belongings and other necessities during this transition period.
Dylan and Alicia ask for so little from friends, family, and the lacrosse community that they have given so much to. The family of Dylan and Alicia Price have set this Go Fund Me account to help with raising donations so these two individuals can get assistance with necessities when they are able to return home.
