Our nephew, Hunter Kiefer, and his family, who live in Sulphur, Louisiana, were forced to evacuate their home last week in light of Hurricane Laura. After returning to Sulphur on Friday to assess the damage, they found their home unliveable and all of their belongings severely damaged by wind, rain and huge fallen trees due to the storm. Both Hunter and Tasha’s places of employment are unable to reopen due to destruction from the storm, and the city is struggling to restore electricity and water to residents and businesses. They have evacuated to Hunter’s mother and stepdad’s, home in Tyler, for now, but will have a long and expensive road to rebuilding their home in Louisiana.
While we are PRAISING the Lord for His safety and provision, we are reaching out to our friends and family to ask for prayers and financial assistance for Hunter and his family during this time.
Thank you so much for your love, concern and prayers for them!
