Hurricane Ida - GIS
I’m pulling some money together today to help purchase and ship a couple of tarps and gas cans over to the guys at Gulf Island in Houma. Marlin’s project manager, Brad Scott, and his family evacuated to North Louisiana and says most homes in Houma and the surrounding areas had roof damage and could use a couple of tarps, which as you can imagine, are not available anywhere in Louisiana at the moment.
So far, I bought 4 gas cans and 4 tarps from Lowes, which came out to $202.47. Not sure how much shipping will cost to North Louisiana, where Brad is staying at, but whatever you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. I’m sure they’ll need more supplies once they are able to go back home to fully assess the damages once the roads are open again but these tarps and gas cans are needed right away. I plan on shipping them overnight today at lunch.
Thank you and have a nice day.
