Hi, my name is Mandy, and I am raising funds so my human (LaVonne Larson) and I can rebuild our home after Hurricane Ian wrecked it. My mom (LaVonne) has lived and worked on Sanibel Island for almost 49 years. She loves it here and wants to stay and so do I. We play tennis in the morning, go for long walks, and I take long naps. She has been busy as a gardener and landscaper, and I've been going with her until Ian hit us. She had a new car with a hammock in the back seat for me. Now, all of her tools are ruined, and the car drowned so we can't go to work. Our roof is leaking badly, and the downstairs rental apartment where my friend Richard lived for 18 years is destroyed, so he is gone. I do have some dog food, but my human is very worried as many of our losses will not be covered by insurance. We stayed during Ian. I slept through most of it, but my mom says it was very scary; but nothing is scarier than the thought that we might not be able to go home again. Please help us. Thank you.
