Hurricane Ian Victim Recent Widow Needs Your Help

Donation protected
Please share, forward or post on any group, forum or organization that can help: My name is Lisa Chipetine and I am asking for donations to help my friend of 18 years, Pam Lowe, who was directly in the path and a victim of Hurricane Ian, which landed in Fort Myers, Florida. Pam sustained devasting losses due to high surging waves of water into her first-floor home. As a result, she totally has to rebuild and replenish her home (furniture, staples, bedding, appliances, drywall, etc.) in addition to a massive cleanup effort. If you wonder what this would be like, put your hand in the middle of your chest and walk around your home and imagine everything below your hand being destroyed. This event comes six weeks right on the back of another devastating loss for Pam - that of her husband Scott to cancer on August 11th. So she not only lost her husband, but a safe space in which to regroup and grieve. Pam is currently staying with a friend who was above the water line, while she is dealing with this huge undertaking.

I am asking for your compassion and generosity to give what you can to help her fast-track getting her home back and restarting her life. Many of you know Pam through the quilting and crafting community and her generosity in helping others. I hope you will pay forward on her behalf.

Any questions, please get in touch with Lisa Chipetine.
