Hurricane Ian tore our roof off

My Name is BJ Sowards, and I am raising money to help my mother and father-in-law replace their roof after being hit by Hurricane Ian head-on. They have no power or internet so we are making this posting for them. They live in Cape Coral, FL, where the 5th largest hurricane ever in us history made landfall. This tore their roof off, took down every tree in their yard, and collapsed much of their back patio ceiling. Ian is not the first time they have dealt with a hurricane, but due to the terrible insurance issues in Fl, they were recently forced to seek new insurance and could not find a new provider before this catastrophe happened. I am trying to fly back to help with these needed repairs, but many materials are required to complete the repairs. My parents are both retired, in their late 60's, and live on a fixed income. These repairs are not something they can cover, and without a roof, they could lose everything else they have in their home.
