Hurricane Ian Devastation-My mom was trapped

Hi, my name is Asia Borman, and I am starting this Go Fund Me to raise money for supplies and essentials, and to help my family get back on their feet. My mom and her fiance Jesse live just off of Fort Myers Beach and were trapped during Hurricane Ian in their flooded home. They have worked on the island for the last 25 years as bartenders. Jesse works as a bartender at the Lani Kai and has a captain's license to charter his boat; both of which are gone. My mom and her fiance have been devastated by Hurricane Ian, and their home flooded, my moms car flooded, and their places of work destroyed. They have nothing left like hundreds of others to rebuild their lives. They are the first to help everyone around them and took in 10 people, and 5 dogs during the storm to get them to higher ground even as their own home flooded. Please help them rebuild and restart their lives in this devasting time. The entire island was under water, and the full impact of hurricane Ian will soon be discovered. Anything over the goal will also be distributed to other survivors who are on the island as well. My mom and her fiance are always giving back to the beach community, and any penny to help them and others get back on their feet is very appreciated. Prayers to everyone affected.
