Hurricane Ian survivor Liz Holbrook

Hi, my name is Tom Lacey. I set this fund up for Liz Holbrook, a fellow Laconia, NH High School Class of 1966 friend. Liz lost everything in Hurricane

Ian in Fort Meyers, Florida. Liz has lived in Fort Meyers for the last 37 years and has worked at Publix for 18 years. She has survived breast cancer, melanoma and Hurricane Charlie, during which she lost power for 24 days. She met her match with Ian, where she sat alone on top of her washing machine with a cell phone that had gone dead at 8 PM as her ground floor condo filled with four to five feet of water. Everything in her condo was floating. Her car was floating in the parking lot. An outside storage building was also floating. She made it through the ordeal and eventually made it to her sister Kate and her husband Tom's home in Massachusetts. She will be displaced from the condo for at least

the following year. She left Fort Meyers with one suitcase. She had no flood insurance.
