Widow an mom of two boys

I'm currently looking towards a go fund me to help raise some funding for a new roof for our home that was completely 95 percent damaged from hurricane Ian.

We have no insurance an limited funds an now limited work.

I'm self employed cleaning services and property management company.

I am the only source of income for our home as of now.

If you know me you know how hard I work to run a small business with integrity an attention to detail.

I don't like asking for help, but this has me lost trying to navigate thru my financial journey.

My older son had to move back home for he was displaced from matlacha from hurricane Ian. He is a charter captain but with the hurricane he also is limited in work

My roof goal is 20,000

As a new shingle roof variable in price.

From 20-30 tho

Currently I am tarped by army corps of engineers.

We had several leaking in side the house as well as severe roof damage.

My wonderful neighbor paid for my roof to be pre underlayment tarp after the hurricane.

An I can't thank her enough

I'm sure the cost will gradually be higher as I discovered more issues caused by the storm an with no insurance it makes it hard to try an pay for repairs.

I currently have a large hole in my bathroom ceiling an outside entry.

With the several leaks we had I will be replacing insulation aswell.

Will be needing to get dry wall repair.

We still feel lucky to still have a home an heavy heart towards those who lost everything.

Along with every day cost of living I also have a black lab who has diabetes an is blind.

I rely on vacation rental cleaning an residential cleaning as my main source of income but the vacation rental business has taken a huge hit so I have limited source of work.
