Hurricane Ian relief for Ms. Tina
Dear Loving Earth Family,
It has been nearly a week since Hurricane Ian pass through our community. Even when the storm's impact in our area was not as devastating as it was for other parts of Florida, and most of our Loving Earth Family members were blessed not to be significantly impacted by the storm, one of our own was not as fortunate.
Ms. Tina, loved and respected by all for more than 24 years of continuous exemplary service to our school community, lost her home and most of her belongings due to the floods that affected some of the Orlando areas. Currently, Ms. Tina is living with relatives and waiting for the waters to recede before she can return to assess all damages to her property. Still, it is expected that the home will be lost entirely due to the extent of the damages caused by the floods.
We are thankful for the help available from charitable organizations and from both federal and state agencies. However, that help is insufficient and slow. It can take months for claims to be processed and funds to become available, and they are often insufficient if at all, available.
For those reasons, we call on our community to come together to help one of our own who finds herself in immediate need. The funds will go directly to cover Ms. Tina’s efforts in recovering her home and lost property.
Will you help Ms. Tina recover as soon as possible?
