Hi my name is Efrain and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my Mother, Diana.
Hurricane Ian destroyed the family home my parents built 20-yrs ago, in the Harlem Heights Community, in Fort Myers.
After the storm she wasn’t able to go see her home due to the severity of the flooding.
After, 2-days she was able to return and see her home destroyed and 20-yrs of family memories washed away.
My mom: A pilar of strength in our family, A God fearing woman, and A give you everything, even though I have nothing type of woman
She is disabled and my father, suffers from Dementia and lives in a nursing home.
We are grateful to God that we’re all alive and well but at the same time we are heartbroken to see how her home was destroyed, leaving her homeless until we can get it all repaired.
