Hurricane Ian relief efforts The Four Broomsticks
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Juliet. I am the owner of The Four Broomsticks in Downtown Fort Myers. Our beautiful, magical Harry Potter bar had only been open for six months, but in a short period, it gave so many people a safe, happy place. But all that was taken away by Hurricane Ian on September 28, 2022. It washed away our home to many, our dreams, our safety blanket. The storm surge found its way inside our precious space and damaged everything we worked so hard for. Leaving us at zero and having to restart our lives and space, we ask the community to help us rebuild. We understand completely that our entire community was affected by this same disaster, and we are beyond grateful that we all still have our lives and each other.
The Four Broomsticks are named after My Four Daughters, who inspired me to open up a family-friendly environment where families and friends can gather, laugh, play games, and relax in a fun wizardly atmosphere where Wizards and Muggles of all kinds are welcomed. I have lived in Lee County since 1998, and all my daughters were born here in Fort Myers. This is our home, our heart and soul
Our community and the Alicea’s family have come together to repair and rebuild our lives, but we are greatly in need of help and realized we can't do it on our own. Any donations would help immensely to help us support our family and rebuild. Please feel free to share or repost to help get the word out. The funds will help us find a new location within Lee County; it will support our families while we are closed and allow us to recreate such a magical place.
Thank you for your kind words, our prayers and love. I have read every one of your messages and appreciate them more than I can express. Your words give me hope and strength.
Thank you again for your support during this time,
Juliet Alicea
