Many of you know my brother and sister-in-law (Larry and Gina Jinks) live in southwest Florida and have been displaced by Hurricane Ian. The storm surge that inundated Pine Island (just off the coast of Ft Myers) as Hurricane Ian roared into Florida flooded everything in its path. This includes my brother's home and the church he has pastored for the past several years: First Baptist Church of Saint James City.
The death toll is still rising from this storm, and residents are currently still out of power and without fresh water. Thankfully, Larry and Gina are safe in Ft Myers; but they have lost nearly everything and will be displaced from their home for the foreseeable future.
They will need to make arrangements for temporary housing, clothes, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and whatever other supplies they may need to begin the long process of cleaning, salvaging, repairing, and rebuilding.
I am asking anyone who can donate to help my family get through this initial recovery period. Anything you may be able to offer will help.
Thank you, in advance, for your support and your prayers.
