Hurricane Ian Recovery for Evergreen Holistic

Hello, my name is Angel Loflin. I am the owner of Evergreen Holistic Yoga & Massage located in North Port, FL, alongside my husband, Matt Loflin. A business of selfless service which we have built from the ground up with our own money, time, and resources.

It is incredibly challenging for me to ask for help so this request doesn’t come lightly, but we have others who depend on our business for their livelihood, as well as ourselves. Our teachers, massage therapists, and practitioners have each been deeply effected by Hurricane Ian and the recovery process that has proceeded this massive catastrophe in our town and the towns that surround us. The majority of us are still without power, running water, and have limited resources. Our community has experienced severe flooding, damaged/lost homes, cars, and much more since Ian’s direct hit on Wednesday, September 28th.

Last week, we had to temporarily close our business to prepare for this storm and are patiently waiting for electricity to be restored and repairs to be made so we can get back to work. In doing so our business and our teachers/practitioners have had a devastating loss of income which will make rebuilding even more of a challenge in the coming weeks.

Your donations will go directly to paying our teachers, massage therapists, and ourselves, as well as keeping our business afloat while we slowly rebuild and recover. We still have a long road ahead but our dedication to being of service to our community will always be our top priority. We don’t just offer yoga and massage, we offer a sanctuary to our community where many come for stress relief, community, healing, and care. We take great pride in being of service to others and your donations will help us to keep that going.
