Kathleen and Chas Bean .

There are so many here in Florida who didn’t make it through hurricane Ian here in Estero, Florida . Lives lost and forever changed in so many cases. Photos and videos can’t begin to describe the devastation we here see.

The above photo is my cousin and her husband Chas and Kathleen Bean who lost their home of 30 years Totally destroyed by water that rushed into their home. Destroyed in an instant by a 5 ft wall of water.

The floods also wiped out their property, including the truck, camper , pottery studio.

Kathleen and Chas are those people who everyone else depends and leans on They are the neighbors who go out off their way.

Luckily they have flood insurance when most didn’t. But it’ll be a while before the companies pay up. God knows how long that’ll be.

Meanwhile they were lucky to. get temporary housing through a generous friend, but it is temporary..

I am hoping that by paying it forward, we can help ease the hump they are going over in some small way.

There are many unforeseen expenses coming at them, little things that add up quick. And yes big things , such as relocating, because they can’t rebuild what they just lost.

I hope most of my FB friends who don’t know Chas and Kathleen personally, and those who do can help me reach the $10,000 goal that will surely help not to devastate them financially.
