Hurricane Ian destroyed Mom's home B4 85th bday

Hi guys. My name is Kathy, and this is my mother's home in Port Orange, FL. It's been devastated by Hurricane Ian, and I am trying to raise funds to save it. Besides social security checks, this house is her security, future and whole life. My father passed away in 2016. He was a 2-time war vet, and his dying wish was for his "sweetheart" to be safe and secure.
My mother, Sandra, turns 85 in November, the same day as my father's death. Hurricane Ian devastated her home, via wind followed by water. She trusted the people around her and didn't understand that "hurricane insurance" does not include flood, so her insurance company has not been responding to our pleas. They had also neglected to fulfill their promise to send a repair pro for water removal, and we sent the next available technician to pump out 2 feet of water that filled every inch of her house. 6 inches of mold grew up the walls daily, while we scrambled to save her house. FEMA has been limited in help because she "has insurance." So far, useless insurance.
My mom is devastated. She's ordinarily full of pee and vinegar and a joy to know. Today, she's confused, depressed and devastated, not knowing if she'll ever be able to return to the home that's been stripped of everything. Every single piece of furniture, all of our childhood memories, every piece of clothing not on her back, nearly everything is in a gigantic pile in her front yard.
Her house has been gutted, carpets, furniture, cabinets and drywall removed. She has no computer. No family nearby. She is displaced and staying with a friend, with a small bag of belongings she grabbed when rescued from her damaged home.
If you're wondering why I'm not there yet...I live in California where OUR property was hit by a mudslide 2 weeks earlier. Yes, our family has been cursed with disasters in a short period. We are challenged, but we have the wherewithal to seek help. My mother is not quite as capable and desperately needs your help and support.
Please consider any amount to help her repair, restore and rebuild her home. Surely it will take much more than the posted goal, but it's a start. We don't ordinarily ask for help, but these are extraordinary times. Thank you for reading and considering her during this trying time.
