Hello and God Bless everyone reading this. My name is Austin Marquez and I know COVID and economic conditions have left everyone in a tight financial situation this year. I am normally on the giving side of these things but unfortunately my wife, two young children , and I have been displaced by recent events with the Hurricane here in Florida. We have barely escaped St. James city on Pine Island due to mandatory evacuation and are currently displaced in Miami with our children, car, and a few suit cases. Due to an over exhausted FEMA we have not received assistance for shelter or food at the moment but plan to receive something soon. All that being said these funds will directly benefit the Marquez family. On top of your thoughts and prayers we humbly ask you to consider donating to keep our family fed, clothed and in a hotel until FEMA responds. The reason for this $7000 fundraiser is to cover living expenses for the Marquez family such as food, toiletries, clothes, and temporary shelter considering the bridge to our Island is completely GONE and the process can take weeks before we can even get back to our Island to assess damages. Just the beginning of this process has costed around $1000 for our family of four and we have limited funds coming in due to my work being on the same island that was hit.
