My boyfriend and I were unfortunately victims of Hurricane Helene, which caused severe flooding and devastation to our home. The floodwaters rose to about 3'5", reaching the doorknobs and windows, and destroyed almost all of our personal belongings.

It was a terrifying experience that we hope no one ever has to endure. Thankfully, we made it to safety with our pets, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Now, as we face the reality of rebuilding our lives, we’ve had to move in with family and begin the slow process of replacing basic necessities while we wait for additional support from FEMA and our insurance claims. However, it may take some time before we receive any of that assistance, which is why we are turning to GoFundMe for help.

We are humbly asking for the support of our loved ones and anyone who can offer aid, as even small contributions will make a significant difference in helping us get through these tough times.

The funds raised will go toward essentials like food, clothing, pet supplies, laundry, and other immediate needs.
