Over the last week, we’ve all seen the photos and heard the stories on the news about the devastation to homes and communities in Houston in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.  Livingston team members from all of our offices have asked how they can help their Houston teammates.  

 As the needs are different based on the amount and types of damage, cash donations are the most effective in providing relief and helping people rebuild their homes.  The Houston office has set up this account account for anyone who would like to make a cash donation.  The team will work together to allocate all donations based on need to help people get back on their feet as quickly as possible.   

If you’d like to provide a donation other than cash, we ask that you consider from the following list of necessary items.  Please note that there will likely be delays in any deliveries due to damage to the infrastructure in the area:

Gift cards for national chains (Wal-Mart/Costco etc)
Chargers for Apple and Android phones
New, unused toiletries – toothbrushes, hairbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc.
New, unused towels and blankets 

Any items that are not used by our Houston team will be donated to a local shelter.
