Hurricane & Emergency Medical Relief for Trans Couple in FL
Donation protected
Hi! We're Pandora and Dayanara, an engaged 25 y/o Caribbean-American transgender couple. Our home in Saint Petersburg, FL. was recently flooded by the devastating hurricanes Helene and Milton, leaving our home deemed uninhabitable, us and our animals displaced, and 90% of our belongings destroyed. With nowhere in the city to live, we had to quit our jobs and abandon St. Petersburg entirely in order to move closer to our support system while dealing with the aftermath of the disaster.
In the middle of all of this, Pandora experienced a life-threatening medical emergency causing the right side of her face to painfully swell up which has left us with a $13,517 ER hospital bill, and an additional $550 that must be raised in full by November 15th for a follow-up appointment, or the oral surgeon will not operate on her.
We have temporary housing thanks to Dayanara's family in the short term, but it is not a lasting solution.
With the funds raised, we will be able to:
Pay required $550 cost of Pandora’s medical operation on November 15th and help pay off $13,517 emergency room hospital bill
- Secure housing in the Atlanta area
- Replace necessities like clothes, housing basics, pet care products, etc.
Afford gas and groceries while seeking employment
With your help, we will be able to ease the weight of life-saving medical costs, move to Atlanta by the New Year and secure work and housing to kickstart a new life for ourselves and our little family. Any assistance goes an incredibly long way and means the world to us both.
Lots of love,
Pandora and Dayanara ❤️
