Hurricane Dorian Relief for the Butler Family
Donation protected
Good afternoon Family and Friends,
As many of you know, Hurricane Dorian recently devastated the Bahamas. Growing up in the Bahamas, I lived through many hurricanes, brushing up on my roofing and construction skills the days following each, but this storm was one for the History books.
My 90yr old grandmother who lives in Abaco, sat fearful in a laundry room for 2 days with my Aunt and Grand uncle and his family as the roof of his house was being torn off…my parents in Freeport, fled their house (which I thought to be impervious to these storms) as the flood waters came rushing in. The storm has passed and my parents and immediate family have survived the storm, except for one uncle who unfortunately did not make it.
Days after the storm, they are still without power and clean running water. Our Government is doing an exceptional job however, a storm of this magnitude is more my small country can handle without external support. I kindly ask you, my friends and family, to help provide support to my family to help them rebuild their livelihood as my grandmother has lost everything in her house and my parents lost both of their vehicles as well as many of their possessions in their house.
We are not asking for anyone to solely fund this effort. Every dollar counts. Please share as you are able.
Our family greatly appreciates the donations and kind gesture.
Thank you
