Medical Relief Fund

Hurricane Dorian has caused mass destruction, loss of countless lives, and a significant burden on the people of the Bahamas. Over 70,000 people are homeless, 2,500 people are registered as missing, and the search for those that did not survive the storm continues.

We would  like to show our support by raising funds to help rebuild a medical center on Abaco, Bahamas. This island was hit directly by Hurricane Dorian.  Dr. Miquell Miller, a former medical student and current general surgery resident of the Stanford University community, grew up on this island and is rallying support to help those that have lost everything. She is also supported by Dr. Michele Barry, Director of The Center for Innovation in Global Health at Stanford University. Dr. Barry has experience in this field and previously organized funds to be sent to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.

All funds will be sent directly to the Red Cross in the Bahamas, a trusted non-profit organization. We have contacted the director of Red Cross in the Bahamas, Caroline Turnquest, who will partner with us and responsibly allocate the medical relief funds to help rebuild a medical center in Abaco, Bahamas.  Please donate and share this link with potential donors.

We appreciate your support.
