Hurricane Dorian was one of the worst hurricanes the Bahamas has ever seen. After westward winds collapsed, the storm became stationary over the island of Grand Bahama destroying nearly half of all homes on the island. Unfortunately, my roommate, Mark Pinder, at SUNY Maritime College was directly affected. His home, as you can see in the picture, was a total loss. He is not able to go home due to the start of our current  semester. So I figured that with the help of these funds we can provide help towards labor costs or anything the family needs in this tragedy.
