My name is Easton Vanhorne. I was born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, which is one of the parishes that have been greatly affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Although I have been residing in the UK since 2015, I still have strong ties and links to the parish of Westmoreland. Before I migrated to the UK, I taught at the Little London High School, in the same parish, for over 12 years. I was also a serving member of the Jamaica Constabulary force for over 9 years.

My purpose for creating this GoFundMe page is to support the people from the District of Little London and Broughton in the parish of Westmoreland.

These two communities are where my mom, sisters, former coworkers and a host of other relatives and friends still reside and have suffered great losses as a result of the hurricane. Specifically, the funds raised will go directly toward providing emergency relief to include food, clean water, clothing, and temporary shelter.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference. Together, we can help our brothers and sisters in Jamaica get back on their feet and rebuild stronger than before.
