Hurricane Beryl Relief Fund for affected Caribbean Islands
Donation protected
The Caribbean Nurses Midwives Association (CNMA) UK, The Nursing Association of Jamaica (NAJ (UK), the Society of African Caribbean Midwives (SoAC) and the Caribbean African Health Network (CAHN) are all Diaspora Health Organisations supporting Nurses and Midwives from the Caribbean and the communities in the U.K., as well as working with the home countries. As Diaspora organisations we have decided to collaborate to ask for your support in securing funds to assist those worse affected by Hurricane Beryl that has left stark devastation across the affected Caribbean islands. At present some persons are in shelters whilst others have lost their homes and possessions.
The collected funds will be used primarily to support the elderly, mother with babies, young children and those most vulnerable to access supplies such as medications, toiletries, sanitary products, nappies, school supplies and other essential items.
Through various social media channels and hearing from families and friends on the affected islands, we felt we needed to support in whatever we can. Your donation to help will be greatly appreciated and will help to bring some kind of normalcy to those affected.
We look forward to your support.
