Dear All,
If you are reading this message, I am sure you are aware that following the devastation caused by hurricane Beryl, the people from islands such as parts of Grenada and its sister island Carriacou, Jamaica, Barbados and St Vincent need your help.
As a West Indian, watching the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl has had a profound effect on me. In December 2023, I visited many of these beautiful islands and I wanted to support and do something to help the people who live there as they are currently suffering. Hurricane Beryl has caused loss of life, destroyed people's homes and their livelihood. Carriacou is almost completely destroyed, St Elizabeth, Hanover, Portland and St Thomas in Jamaica were hit hard by Beryl and many other islands.
We all love the beautiful destinations of the Caribbean so please find it in your hearts to help, support, and fund this cause which will help to buy food, clothing and pay for rebuilding materials. Your contributions will help the Caribbean people to rebuild their lives following this natural disaster. Caribbean people always welcome everyone with a smile and this is an opportunity for us to bring that smile back after they have lost so much.
I am currently working in collaboration with locals from these islands to raise funds which will be distributed to the worst affected areas.
Your help, no matter how small, will be appreciated. Thank you all so much.
Blessings always.
