As we are sure you’ve all seen or heard - the damage and destruction from Hurricane Ian has been massive and widespread. Its effects have been felt and have reached all the way up here to Mastic, New York. Ed Jodry, a dear friend of ours, recently retired, sold his house and moved to Saint James City in Florida just this past May. Saint James City is adjacent to the more famous Fort Myers, Florida. Ed had hoped to finally stop working and enjoy the great outdoors and all of that Florida and it's weather had to offer. But mother nature had other plans. Our friend was lucky enough to be physically spared from the damage from Hurricane Ian but his house and almost all of his belongings were severely damaged. We are hoping to raise some money to help him get back on his feet. Ed is an extremely generous, humble and giving man who has devoted the later years of his life to help the less fortunate. Now, through no fault of his own, he is one of those less fortunate and it is our turn to help him. Ed himself would never ask for help. Which is why we are helping him. He would be the first person in line to help someone else.
