Dr. Wayne F. Velicer has designated a GoFundMe page for the Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Velicer came to know Puerto Rico through his beloved wife Anna. With every visit, Wayne became fond of Puerto Rico and developed a love for his wife's homeland, it's family-oriented culture, food, history. He had plans to establish a second home on the Island Of Enchantment and was distressed to hear the devastation reaped upon it by Hurricane Maria. Wayne always commented, however, that he wished "Big Box" stores hadn't taken over so much industry. To honor our beloved Patriarch, we are developing this fund to use for Aid to help rebuild, feed, bring supplies, clean water, and generators to a smaller organization through which we know the relief will be disbursed at "ground zero" to the Puerto Rican people.
