Hurling Players to Represent Knoxville in Ireland

Have you ever heard of the 2,000 year old national sport of Ireland, hurling? A group of American born Knoxville Hurling men and women have qualified for the opportunity of a lifetime to represent our beloved city playing this ancient Irish sport at the 2023 GAA World Games. Hurling resembles soccer, lacrosse and baseball all rolled into one amazing field sport! The World Games only happen every three years, and they return to Ireland this summer July 24th - 28th. We need your help traveling there to represent Knoxville and East TN on the USGAA Southeast Division “Y’all Stars!” Funds will go towards airfare, checking equipment bags, and our lodging.
