Hello! My name is Hurley Winston. I am an engergetic Corgi who loves nothing more than to play frisbee and swim in my favorite area of North Austin, Walnut Creek. I have a one of a kind crooked smile and personality that is infectious to anyone around.
On Monday 3/14/16 my mom returned from work to find me in an enormous amount of pain. She immidately rushed me to the emergency vet to get checked out. After multiple visits within just two short days, it has been determined that I will likely need surgery immediately as I no longer have control over my back legs and drag them behind me. My mom even has to hold me up to go potty. She has done everything she can to ensure I am as comfortable as possible, however it is not enough. ALL I WANT TO DO IS PLAY WITH OR WITHOUT MY BACK LEGS!
Tomorrow (3/16/16) I will likely undergo my first (and hopefully last) surgery and am really anxious. I am in great spirits and eating normally. I am just ready to get back to normal as not being able to walk is quite frustrating!
Any help that can be provided on my mom in such a difficult time is beyond appreciated. To say that we are family is an understatement. We saved each other a little over 5 years ago and continue to do so daily. PLEASE HELP ME CHASE FRISBEES AGAIN! Even $1 matters as this long journey begins for both of us.
