Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un, Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.

Its with the upmost heartbreak that we are share a calamity that has befallen on our family. We pray Allah SWT bestows his mercy and blessings on the souls of the little ones that parished in the fire and that he reunited them with their parents in Jannatul Firdows, Ameen. May Allah grant their parents sabr jameel during this trying time.

My uncle along with his daughter lost 4 of their children in a house fire that happened in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. My uncle lost two of his sons and his daughter lost 2 of her infant sons as well. There was a gas leak that no one saw coming and is what caused the fire. 

The pain our family is experiencing is unimaginable but Allah SWT is the best of planners and we know and understand that to Him we belong and to Him we shall return.

Khalid al-'Absi said, "A son of mine died and I felt intense grief over his loss. I said, 'Abu Hurayra, have you heard anything from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to cheer us regarding our dead?' He replied, 'I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, "Your children are roaming freely in the Garden."'"

Right now need emergency support with facing this calamity. We need support for preparing funeral arrangements and with recovering from the fire as shelter, food, clothing, etc have all been lost beyond recovery. Your kindness and efforts are appreciated greatly.
