I was asked by my nephew David and his wife Ashlee to help organize this GoFundMe for them. They are not the type of people to ever ask anybody for anything. They lost everything! Here is a message from them.

Hello, as hard as this is to do we are raising some money to create some normalcy after completely losing our home to the south fork fire in Ruidoso. We didn’t have renters insurance unfortunately and lost everything for ourselves and our two small children. My husband is a firefighter and was called out to go fight this fire before he could help me and the kids grab things and evacuate. Anything that is contributed we are beyond grateful for as we know there are so many of us from Ruidoso and Alto that lost their homes and all the belongings too.
