Hi, my name is Mindy & I am fundraising for my uncle Michael & Andi. Who have lost literally everything they own in Hurricane Ian, in FT Myers, Florida. You may know them as your friendly FMB pirates.
A year ago, Michael’s mom passed away. Her loss was devastating for us all.
Four months ago, he received the call that his dad’s camp caught fire. His dad passed 72 hours later. His loss was unimaginable because we had just lost her. In addition, Andi’s mother has been battling lung cancer, unimaginable sadness, worry, & grieve in such a short time.
Then Hurricane Ian strikes, literally destroying everything they own. They have been left with their home destroyed, no cars, very little clothes. Family heirlooms destroyed, this hurts the most.
Michael was voted as the best handy man on FT Myers beach recently, with the loss of his truck & tools he will be out of work in the time they need money the most.
Andi is known to the islanders for her handmade jewelry. Her equipment and tools were all lost in the hurricane.
Every donation will help them & their neighbors directly.
They were brought supplies, the first thing they did was fill up a wagon and went to find their elderly neighbors to help them, as far as they could walk in the disaster.
I am from NKY, Michael & Andi are my uncle & aunt. They are both originally from NKY. The funds will be used to help them cover living expenses. They will also help their elderly neighbors in every way they can. Thank you
