At just 2 years old, Hunter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Since then, his journey has been marked by unimaginable challenges and incredible courage.
He has undergone 16 surgeries — including 12 brain surgeries and several other procedures. He’s also faced a stroke, chemotherapy, and proton radiation. Despite losing most of his vision, Hunter lives with joy and determination, thriving in school with the help of an aide.
For the past three years, his tumor remained stable; however, several cysts on the tumor grew abruptly, causing multiple complications and requiring a 13-hour brain surgery. The procedure left him partially paralyzed, but doctors believe that with intensive therapy, he can make a full recovery within 6 to 8 months.
Insurance only covers 20 hours of therapy per year — far less than the 280+ hours recommended. The cost will be at least $40,000 out of pocket.
We’re raising funds to help cover this life-changing rehabilitation. Every dollar goes directly to Hunter’s care and recovery.
Thank you for supporting Hunter and his family with your prayers, love, and generosity.
