Our Aunt Crystal is one of the best people in the world. She has spent her entire life taking care of others. She is also no stranger to heartache, loss, or trials. She has experienced many of them throughout her life. Recently though, she has had to go through some of life’s most heart wrenching trying challenges. We (her nieces and nephews) want to do anything and everything we can to help her through and let her know how much we care!  Just over 2 years ago she buried her only brother then  after 2 devastating hurricanes (Arthur in 2014 and mostly recently Florence in 2018)  hit the region where she lives (Carteret County, North Carolina) causing major damage to her uninsured home and it has now become uninhabitable because of the extensive damage. She has also lost many of her most treasured belongings.  Recently she and her two sons have been staying with my grandmother to help care for her and had an electrical fire in the home, behind the dryer. Then just yesterday, March 25th 2019, our baby cousin, Hunter Thomas Gaskill,  passed away at the young age of 18. His life was tragically cut short when it was only just beginning. After losing his father, grandmother, and most recently his childhood home.  Hunter had many medical issues throughout his life but he loved so deeply and we all loved him more than he may ever know! Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts, prayers and amazing deeds! We know Hunter is in a better place with his Heavenly Father.  Please help us to take care of his dear Mother, Sister, and Brother (our amazing Aunt and cousins)!
