On behalf of my cousin Amy & Hunters family- We are heartbroken to share that Hunter passed away unexpectedly and tragically, leaving an unimaginable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Hunter was a son, partner, friend, and light to so many—always ready with a smile, a joke, a helping hand, or a conversation that made you feel truly heard. His loss has shaken his family and community to the core.
As his family navigates this painful and overwhelming time, we are asking for support to help cover the cost of Hunter’s funeral and memorial services. His passing was sudden, and they were not prepared—emotionally or financially—for the expenses that come with laying a loved one to rest with dignity and honor. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and help ease a burden during a moment filled with grief and disbelief.
We also hope that sharing Hunter’s story can serve a greater purpose: to raise awareness of men’s mental health. Many men feel pressure to stay silent, to “be strong,” and to hide their suffering. Our hope is that by speaking openly, we can help someone else feel less alone, reach out for support, or recognize when someone they love needs help.
Thank you from his incredible family and the bottom of their hearts for your love, kindness, and support during this devastating time. Your generosity helps us celebrate Hunter’s life and ensures he is remembered with the love and respect he deserves.
