My partner, Hunter, who is only 38 years old, was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure in April. Since then, we have been in and out of hospitals and doctors’ offices trying to get him life-saving help. He is currently on daily dialysis treatments, which has put a huge strain on life, but is necessary to maintain his kidney function and keep him alive until we can find a kidney donor.

We found an approved kidney donor!!! His partner, Makenna, will be donating her kidney! Many things go into getting approved to be a kidney donor, and it’s even more specific to be a perfect match to donate directly to someone. The surgery is scheduled for end of January in Sacramento, and we are so grateful for all of the support towards Hunter’s recovery. All of the funds from this GoFundMe will go towards travel and accommodation costs for the 3.5 month stay in Sacramento for surgery and post-op routine appointments.
