Hello all! We are supporters of the known former Mixer Partner currently Twitch Partner content creator Hunkstaban who recently found his world crumbling down when a power surge destroyed most of this property and almost his home. Now he needs the help of fans, friends, and family to get back on his feet.
This is what happened...

On the 13th of January, I arrived home after shopping for a week's meal prepping, when in the middle of cooking my apartments lights started blinking, my oven sounding alarm and my kitchen hob turning on and off. When electrical failures happen my electrical relay box in my apartment is supposed to shut off, but it didn't. I quickly turned off all power myself and contacted an emergency electrician. He found out that a cable had become loose, and probably had been for a while, inside the wall. When it disconnected it resulted in the remaining cables being subjected to more than double the voltage than usual, which all went out into the apartment and all my electronics. Naturally, most appliances are not built to support such high voltages and got completely fried. Computers, TV, fridge, speakers, monitors, router etc. had been destroyed. The damage got reported to the insurance company and when all was accounted for the total damage totaled to $14,200. Insurance is going to cover around 70% of this amount, hopefully, but nothing is certain yet as they are still reviewing the case. This has all resulted in over a month without being able to work and lots of lost revenue, mixed with stress levels that I've never experienced before.
All this is mixed with lots of costs and time commitment to getting things fixed. Another electrician came and fixed the loose cable in the 14th and said I was lucky it didn't set my apartment ablaze considering where it was located.
