Hi! I’m Cecily, a queer & trans voiceover artist, performer, and line-dancing cowboy currently raising funds for my top surgery.
After years of binding, dysphoria, and wildly strategic layering, I’m finally moving toward a version of myself that feels right. I’ve got my consultation scheduled for June 19th, and I’m aiming to have surgery in November; with a potential date in sight, the need for surgery has never felt more pressing.
Top surgery is a huge, life-affirming move - and also, unfortunately, a pricey one. I’m going through private healthcare since the NHS waitlist could stretch to the next century, and I’m asking for community support to help cover the costs of surgery, travel, and recovery essentials (like a million pillows and shirts that button).
To kick things off, I’m throwing an LGBTQIA+ line-dancing night called Hunkdown on July 9th in London. It’s part hoedown, part fundraiser, part dream come true. But even if you can’t make it to the dance floor, you can still help me get one step closer to surgery.
If you’re able to donate, share, or just cheer me on, it would mean the world. Every bit of support helps me move toward a body that feels like mine - one that lets me breathe easier, dress how I want, and move through the world with less dysphoria and more joy.
Whether you’re trans, love someone who is, or just think everyone deserves to feel at home in their body - thank you so much for being part of this with me. I promise to pay it forward with gratitude (and perhaps a few shirtless selfies down the line)
With love,
C x
