HUNGER CRISIS - Will you Fill an EMPTY PLATE?
Tax deductible
In Kansas City, we have twice as many hungry older adults than the national average. To make it worse, KC Shepherd's Center's Meals on Wheels funding has been cut in half - we were feeding 1,200 hungry homebound seniors and now we can serve fewer than 600.
We brought Meals on Wheels to Kansas City in 1972 and have been providing a daily well-check and a hot meal ever since, but we cannot keep up with the growing crisis of more hunger and less money to feed our most vulnerable neighbors without your help RIGHT NOW.
$5, $10, $20 Every amount helps FILL AN EMPTY PLATE.
$50 will FEED a hungry senior and provide a WELL CHECK for a week.
$200 covers FOOD and A FRIENDLY VISITOR for our most isolated neighbors for A MONTH.
Every meal matters. We need your help NOW to feed those who need us most. Can't make a large donation today, but want to feed a hungry older adult? Sign up as a monthly donor and know you are saving a life at Donate Now
