This summer I will be serving my second mission to Budapest, Hungary!
I am beyond excited to serve the Lord in this way and share about the love of Jesus Christ. We have a command to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20)
God has placed missions on my heart since Nicaragua last year and I am grateful for the opportunity to be an ambassador of the kingdom. What an honor this is.
"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God" 2 Corinthians 5:20
For this mission my team and I will be hosting a week long baseball camp to teach kiddos how to play and strengthen their skills. (Who knows, I may even end up coaching a team!) We will be able to mentor our groups over the week, see them learn and grow, and build meaningful connections. Additionally, we will be serving on the streets of Budapest and doing street evangelism.
There is a section of the world called the 10/40 window of the Eastern Hemisphere and this is known as an unreached section of the world. Hungary falls within this window. How special is it that my team and I get to serve those who have never heard the Gospel.
