Financial Support for Humza Mahmood’s Family

With deep, deep sadness a close little brother of ours in the community, Syed-Humza Mahmood, had passed away this morning after succumbing to severe brain and other bodily injuries from a car crash. 

My name is Syed Huda, a close friend of the deceased individual, Syed-Humza Mahmood. I have taken the collective effort with other close friends of Humza to raise funds for his family at this devastating time. 

Humza was the primary financial supporter of his family. Since he is no longer with us, our goal is to support his families day to day expenses for the next several months. 

These funds will also be used to cover expenses related to the passing of Humza Mahmood. 

The father of the deceased will be added as the beneficiary of the fundraiser. 

I, Syed Huda, was a close friend with the son of the beneficiary and will be withdrawing the funds and delivering them to the beneficiary (Eldest sister of deceased, as appointed by the father of the deceased Humza Mahmood) once it’s made available for me to withdraw. Ideally as soon as Monday, October, 26th Insha’Allah. 

We ask for you to please remember his family at this time. Please donate generously whatever you can.

Janaza/Funeral details:

Janaza (funeral) is to take place at Madina Islamic Center, Springfield VA at 1:30pm Sunday, October 17th, 2021
