Hummer Family Flood Recovery
Donation protected
Nearly 10 inches of rain fell in 1 hour on Aug 31 in Mt Joy, PA causing a terrifying emergency evacuation for Morgan Hummer and her 3 small children, as their water gushed through their basement window.
Mitch, Morgan, Ramsey (5), Campbell (3) and Cannen (1) moved into their Mt Joy home nearly a year ago. Mitch and Morgan are high-school sweethearts and have extremely close ties to the community through family and friends. They are so happy to return to Etown-Mt Joy to raise their 3 children in their forever home. The past year has been filled with home renovations and they turn their house into a home.
The destruction caused by the flash floods will have far reaching impact on their home and finances. The funds will be used to support the Hummer family's needs to recover.
Please check back for additional ways to help in the future.
