Humbly seeking support for my father's Funeral

Greetings and thank you all in advance for your time.

My name is Daniel E Kelley III, the first born son of the late Reverend Daniel E Kelley Jr. of New York City, who was called home to GOD this Friday October 11th, 2024.

Due to the high costs of funeral expenses, I have humbly created this page in hopes it will help us cover some of the funeral expenses so we can set a date for services, and our family can lay my father, one of the last patriarchs of the family and one of GOD's Warrior Servants to rest with the Honor and Dignity my father deserves.

With your help and under the care of the Carl C. Burnett Funeral Home in Hempstead, Long Island, the family would be able to have services and lay my father to rest at Greenfield Cemetery in Hempstead, Long Island. The repast in celebration of his life would be at Emanuel Baptist Church in Elmont, Long Island (which is at the border of Queens and Long Island, near the UBS Arena).

The desire is to keep my father close to family, laying him to rest and celebrating his life locally. Some of you in the dance community have met or know my father when he spoke and blessed our first event "GUARDIANS OF DANCE" back in 2010 at St. Marks church,

so we totally understand if you wish to attend, but may be too far, or difficult to manage with transportation, especially if not by car. We KNOW you'd be with us in spirit to celebrate my father's life with us, and for this, "i" am humbly grateful.

If you currently have an elder family member slowly showing early signs of Dementia or Alzheimer's, I beg you to do the research and please don't wait, get them checked out or try to be as helpful as possible, because if it isn't reversible and you haven't learned all there is to know about him/her and family history, again, I BEG YOU... PLEASE... for the sake of love for your family legacy and all, whether you have a great relationship or aren't speaking to them for whatever reason... put it ALL to the side, try talking with them, building as much of a relationship with them while you still can.

Nothing... NOTHING is more important... than family.
