Humbly Asking Support to Cover Legal Fees In My Divorce Case

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I’m a middle-aged man trying my best to navigate the challenges of a protracted divorce. After a long and difficult wait, my trial date has finally been set for 2025 Q3—nearly two and a half years after initially filed.

During this time, I have unfortunately accumulated substantial legal bills. I find myself in a position where I need to raise funds to pay for my lawyer’s outstanding fees and the expenses for the upcoming trial. This includes a recent court mandated mediation session that forced me to bring my lawyer, which triples the original fee for the service!

Despite my best efforts to manage my situation, I’ve exhausted my

resources and can no longer rely on them for support.

On top of this, I am also battling several chronic illnesses involving stomach/liver and immune system, as well as one that has yet to be diagnosed, which has necessitated multiple trips to the Mayo Clinic.

The toll this has taken on my daily life and my ability to work has only added to my struggles.
