My husband, E. Pat Donovan, is a wonderful man; a hard worker, loving, always willing to help anyone, anytime. He is 72 years young but still loves to work. He was working in Sulfur, Louisiana when in July, he developed double pneumonia. After that, his blood pressure spiked. Then he had bladder surgery and the nurse pulled on the catheter but didn't deflate the balloon and he bled for over a week. He had a blip on his EKG and went a heart doctor. Having numbness in his forehead area, he had to see a neurologist...he now has neuropathy. Then he broke his foot on the front porch, slipping on some mud after a rain...had surgery, not walking on it for two months. Now it is Christmas time and his job let him go as his family leave ran out. It is now March 1, 2019 and he is taking chemo pills for a rare form of cancer. It started on his nose, smaller than what his file picture shows; it now covers almost the whole nose. The dermatologist was concerned and sent pictures to his colleagues. He was referred to the Sarcoma Center at M.D.Anderson. He is still not working and relys on a monthly SS check that doesnt cover much. He has 20 more weeks of CT head and body scans and chemotherapy. His appetite is lacking and is worried about providing for his family. He believes that God will provide and didnt bring him this far to drop him now. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you for listening.
I am his wife, Jan. He is the love of my life. I started this account to help him (us) get through these times. I am on disability and cannot work at this time and he hasn't worked since July. With our savings gone and living on credit, it is stressful to say the least. Godspeed
