Humble's Flood Loss

My home was flooded, like so many others. It came so fast and I had sandbags up, but it came up higher than it ever has before. Our house has not flooded since 1983, and we didn't live there then. According to the watermark I can see on one of my doors, I had 25" inside. I wasn't going to ask for help because so many need help, but the further into this I get, the more I realize how much is gone. Dale's car; he only has liability insurance. Our refrigerator, our stove, our air conditioners, our washer and dryer, our stove, most of my clothes and shoes, all of the furniture downstairs (bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom) are all gone. My fence is wrecked, and that's important to me because it's how I keep my dogs safe. I have well water, and my water pump is ruined. My hot water heater is gone, as are all of our outside tools.

Help only if you want to. This is so very much not a money grab, which you know if you know me.  I will provide receipts for everything.
