I never thought I’d find myself writing something like this. Those who know me know I’d rather crawl under a rock than ask for help like this—but I love my kids, I am out of options and right now I need to swallow my pride for them.

Recently, I lost my job. Because the termination was ruled as a company policy violation, I was just denied unemployment benefits. I’ve been searching feverishly for a new job, applying and interviewing wherever I can, but so far nothing has materialized.

In the meantime, bills don’t stop coming. I’ve got five kids who depend on me, zero assets to lean on and it’s been a heavy weight trying to make sure they’re taken care of through all of this.

I’m not asking for much—just a small hand to help me support my family through this rough patch until I can get back on my feet with steady work. Anything helps, and I’m grateful for every bit of support, whether it’s financial help, sharing this with others, or even just encouragement.
