Humbled, Hopeful, and Asking for Help — A Family in Need
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Chris Martinez. I'm a husband and a father of four beautiful children — ages 10, 8, 3, and just 4 months old. Today, I’m stepping out in faith to ask for help — not only financially, but also in prayer and encouragement.
Over the past several months, my family has been facing one of the hardest seasons of our lives. I lost my job, our home, and my sister. We had our whole lives changed so fast after losing our home from losing my job.
Since then its been hard to find work, but Im not giving up hope.
Still, despite doing everything I could to stretch our savings and provide for my family throughout everything, we've come to a point where we’re simply out options. We’ve been moving from one Airbnb to another, trying to keep a roof over our heads, making sure our kids have somewhere safe to sleep and feel "at home" again.
We’ve never done anything like this before. But through prayer, I’ve felt the Lord press upon my heart the importance of humility, of surrender — and the courage to ask for help. So here I am.
I’m not just asking for money. If you feel led to give in your heart, it would mean more than you could imagine to us — it would help us find stable housing for a bit longer, and allow us to breathe long enough for me to get back on my feet. As I reach out to find work and ways to start a new season freshly. But if you can’t give financially, its okay, we humbly ask for your prayers. Please pray for us, for strength, for Christ's continued guidance as we navigate this storm, and or in anyway you are led to.
This is not easy to share, but in all things we want to be happy in faith as we trust in Christ always. Thank you for taking the time to read this, to pray for us, and if you feel led, to support us.
May God's love, mercy, and grace be with you all.
Christopher & the Martinez Family.
