The horrors continue with heinous images continuing to flow from Gaza. It's incomprehensible which human in their right state of mind would rejoice at the misery and demise of another human. Every living creature is entitled to empathy. In Gaza, it's another story and it's been going on for far too long.

Our message and appeal is purely humanitarian. Our goal is to help out and do our part to remain on the right side of history. We can't reach the needy physically but through our donations we are doing what we can to offer support.

Some of the images Hamna (pseudonym) posts on her social media page send chills down my spine. It's unimaginable to even think how these people are surviving. What could they have done so bad to be treated in this manner on their own native land. It's horrific.

William, a US based journalist frantically texted me a few days ago worried sick about Hamna. He's a close friend of hers and willingly supports her in every possible way he can. He told me he was talking to Hamna via whatsapp and suddenly Hamna told him, a tank had drawn up outside her house and is firing. After that he got cut off. He couldn't reach Hamna so texted me to ask. Anyway, when we did finally reach her, she told us she had escaped to a school building and remained there until it was safe to return to her half demolished house. Due to no signal she couldn't get in touch. This is just a tiny glimpse of what one small family has to put up with. There's numerous horror stories.

I will continue post updates whenever I get the opportunity. If anything changes, I will update the page and withdraw the fund raiser. For now please continue to donate. Every penny, (with the exception of fees deducted by gofundme) reaches Hamna. Prices quadruple daily and at the minute, due to starvation war, price hikes are just through the roof.

Thank you all for your kind and generous support. Every penny is appreciated. God has His ways to reward his creation and he will not forget any of us nor our deed.

Dear All Supporters, Contributors and Good Friends of Hamna

First of all I would like to thank you all from the deep of my heart for supporting my cause in the bid to help the poor Gazans whom Hamna supports through these contributions. Every penny has helped their survival and we can't think or comprehend what this means to those in desperate need. They are so thankful. I find them so humble.

None of us thought the war would linger on this long and the situation would become such inhumane that these people would be struggling to breathe clean air. You also know that these people have no prospects at all and their only lifeline is us. Our generous contributions affords these people the bare necessities. Each time funds diminish, we have to start sending out pleas. Most people aren't so sure that funds actually reach the people on the ground and quite rightly so, as we also know that aid is taken in and then sold off, when it lands in the wrong hands, as opposed to it being distributed through the right channels to the needy. It is hence that people hesitate to contribute. It hurts but we can't impose on everyone.

Everything is beyond complicated and I'm just bewildered how these people survive. Surely, they have nerves of not steel but iron and their spirit continues to shine. Their resilience, their perseverance, their patience, their strength and many more qualities are unique. They are teaching us the name of survival in the most extreme conditions and most of us wouldn't be able to stand in the same conditions. I mean the torment is just next level inhumane.

It becomes very difficult when funds diminish as begging feels embarrassing. I have therefore come up with an idea and thought to make a proposition to the regular contributors. Those of you who agree and feel it's affordable, please contribute so that we know Hamna has sufficient funds to feel comfortable. She doesn't hesitate to help others around her. Most of the people think she's a humanitarian worker on behalf of an organisation. That's just sweet how she cares about others when herself and her family are suffering and scrambling for the bare necessity to feed their hunger.

So the idea is: A request for around 15 to 20 regular contributors ranging from £100 - £5 on a monthly basis depending on affordability level. I'm pledging £50 - £100 myself and let's say on the 15th of each month so I can send out two monthly lump sums to Hamna. One on the 15th and one on 1st of each month. That way, we will know that our beloved Palestinian families are getting the basics and this is down to those of us who choose to contribute and offer our help. Basic food items cost four to five times the normal price hence money diminishes fast. Please feel free to email me directly if would like to. Most of you who contribute know every penny, less the fees, is handed over to Hamna. She can confirm this. I feel it's now my duty to continue this until conditions improve and I'm sure most of you become worried when Hamns goes quiet due to no internet. At least she's still alive, not safe but it's all in God's hands. We hope she lives long, and is able to come out of this misery and is able to live a life like us. Be able to earn and feed herself and her family and do the normal things that us humans do.
